Naoshima (直島町, Naoshima-chō)
Standing on the terrace of the Chichu Art Museum, looking out at a headland surrounded by photographs of the view taken over the last century, I found myself desperate to capture my own interpretation of the landscape from the burning image imprinted in my mind. This piece captures the colour and light as I looked out where land meets sea on the 8th April 2018.
